Customized Structures for Your State!
South Dakota was the 40th state admitted into the United States on November 2nd, 1889 by President Benjamin Harrison, the same day as North Dakota’s admittance into the United States. South Dakota has a widespread amount of sunflower fields and large mountain ranges that dominate the state’s geography. The Sioux Indians could not defend themselves against the surge of European settlers, which would eventually lead to the area’s overtake and admittance into the U.S. as a state. The state’s capital is Pierre, but largest city is Sioux Falls. Its home to the world famous Mount Rushmore, the Sioux Indian Nation, and the Homestake Mine, the largest underground gold mine in North America. South Dakota has a continental climate with cold, dry winters and hot, semi-humid summers. The summers bring frequent severe hail and powerful thunderstorms, and its location in Tornado Alley is consistent with its average of 30 tornadoes annually. The winters bring severe weather in the form of blizzards and ice storms. Destructive winds, heavy snowfall, hail, and thunderstorms can cause severe damage to vehicles and outdoor equipment if not stored properly. To protect your outdoor valuables from South Dakota’s intense weather, check out our selection of customizable metal buildings which feature garages, carports, and barns that can be certified to protect against the elements, and save you from thousands of dollars of damage.

Featured Metal Buildings
South Dakota is a great place for do-it-yourself enthusiasts. When it comes to maintaining and protecting your vehicle in South Dakota, there are several options for easily and conveniently building a structure to protect your car or vehicles. For instance, carport kits are simple to assemble. Carport kits contain the materials that you need to set up a covering for your car, but we can do it for you if you’d like (and for free)!
If you are looking for a structure that has walls and is fully enclosed, look at our garage buildings. Garage buildings offer the advantage of helping to protect vehicles from wind and water as well as theft since they are enclosed. We offer free delivery and installation; however, you can save 5% on your structure by opting to do the simple construction yourself!
Choosing to build larger structures, like metal barn kits, generally takes a little more time and effort. However, metal barn kits are often more open for customization. This is because metal barns have three basic units. Often the central unit is an enclosed garage with an open carport unit on either side of it. However, all three units can be open or closed if you would like. Metal barns are usually larger than other vehicle protection structures, of course. This means they offer more storage space for your car and can house multiple vehicles at once. If you can use the extra space, choosing a barn kit can be a reasonable and exciting option.
