Louisiana Metal Barns

Customized Structures for Your State!

Louisiana is a state with a singular culture, due to its rich history of settlement by the French, Acadians, and the Spanish, and also due to a landscape unique within the United States. Louisiana shares a border with Mississippi formed by the Mississippi River. The northern part of the state is home to woodlands and prairies—a stark contrast to the southern wetlands. Louisiana became the 18th state to join the union in 1812, just a few years after the land was sold to the U.S. by Napoleon Bonaparte. The high amount of rainfall in Louisiana means equipment and storage are at a high risk of water damage. Protect your valuables by storing them in one of Elephant Structures’ featured garages, carports, or barns.

elephant structures metal carport

Carports are well known by sight, but it is doubtful that they are ever ascribed their real name. This is probably because of the variety of things which carports may be used for. A carport is basically a wall-less garage held up by a metal frame, but of course it is much more complicated in reality. The size of carports can vary greatly as can the type of roof. More than just cars are often stored in carports, from lawnmowers, to any outdoor tools. Carports are very easy to build, maintain, and are super affordable.

elephant structures metal garage

A garage is rather like the middle-ground between metal carports and barns. It provides more protection than a carport, but is smaller than a barn. Garages are a good choice to protect cars and objects in a climate where extra protection is necessary. Also, expensive, or fragile items, that should not be left prone, can be better protected within the closed space.

elephant structures metal barn

A barn is larger than carports and garages, and can be an open or an enclosed structure. A barn is capable of holding many cars, RVs, large tractors, and other items. Also, barns are the optimal home for livestock and other animals. Barns are usually for people who have significant amounts of farmland, or just many cars, vehicles, or objects to store.
