Maryland Metal Barns

Customized Structures for Your State!

Part of the original 13 colonies, Maryland was established by Lord Baltimore in 1634. Maryland was admitted as the 7th state in the United States on April 28th, 1788. The name Maryland was established for this particular state as an honor to the Queen consort, Henrietta Maria, who was the wife of Britain’s King Charles I. Maryland is also considered the birthplace of religious freedom in America. The state’s geography is largely a low land state with fertile soil that provides for a rich variety of crops, including but not limited to, melons, cucumbers, tobacco and peas. Annapolis, which is considered the primary sailing domain of the world, is the capital of Maryland. Maryland is known for its wide multitude of climates due to the local variances in elevation, proximity to water and protection from colder weather due to down slope winds. Average rainfall for the state ranges from 35-45 inches, and snowfall can range from 10 to 100 inches annually. The state is vulnerable to tropical cyclones on the coast and tornadoes have been spotted a few times. To protect your outdoor valuables from possible snow and ice damage, flooding and destructive winds, check out our selection of customizable metal buildings which feature garages, carports, and barns.
